We are excited to show off our latest Chanhassen remodel. We completely updated this 1960’s home in the Sunrise Hills neighborhood on the west side of Lotus Lake. We used ALL our skills on this one.
The homeowner have eclectic taste–she wanted some traditional “furniture” looks balances with more contemporary/transitional elements. There are walnut and painted cabinets, Euro and Face-Frame cabinets with inset doors, and a contrasting Island that is a real show piece. There are also plenty of custom features like a pull-out pantry, custom beverage center with retracting doors, integrated desk, and a media cabinet to house all the family’s devices. The home-owners will get great use of the custom pantry space we created in a nook just off the main kitchen.
We were also asked to integrate some wood pieces around the main floor the home. We re-created the fireplace area with flanking cabinets, ship lap to the ceiling, and our owner created a masterpiece walnut mantel. We installed the most AMAZING Rift & Quarter Sawn White Oak hardwood floors. Lastly, our team built stair treads to match the floor and we installed the stunning Walnut stair rails and newel post.
It’s great when we are able to use our creativity and many skills on a project–THANK YOU Shelsie and family for the for this TREMENDOUS opportunity!
